There are some things you simply can't get enough of in life. Ski pistes are a good example – the more the better, especially when they come in all different varieties like the ones in Wagrain-Kleinarl. And if you should ever run out of slopes in the local resort, don't forget that it forms part of the huge Ski Amadé, Austria's largest network of interconnected ski resorts. And the best thing is that all these pistes and slopes are just a short cable car ride away using the ski lift right outside our front door.
Doorstep skiing in Wagrain
Now that's what I call doorstep skiing! It is just a few steps from our hotel to the Grafenbergbahn cable car giving skiers and snowboarders access to the slopes. Once up in the mountains, the state-of-the-art G-Link aerial tramway connects Wagrain to the rest of the Ski Amadé resort network.

For each ticket in the 2023/24 winter season, there is a certain contingent of discounted ski passes per day of validity. The price therefore depends on demand and the time of purchase. The rule is: the earlier you buy, the cheaper the ticket. The ski passes will continue to be offered at a fixed price at the ticket offices.

Snow Space Salzburg
The three resorts of Wagrain, Flachau and St. Johann Alpendorf have joined together to create the Snow Space Salzburg. This ski network offers:
- 120 kilometres of snowsure slopes
- 45 modern lifts and cable cars
- Ski safaris, challenges, "Wagrainis Winterwelt" for children
- Direct connection to neighbouring resorts of Flauchwinkl/Kleinarl and Zauchensee via the Panorama Link lift
Non-stop skiing
The Ski Amadé resort network is quite simply the largest ski area in Austria. It has up to 760 kilometres of ski pistes across two provinces, Salzburg and Styria.
